COMMAND PRECISION WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: March 4, 2019

Welcome! Command Precisions, Inc. (“Command Precision” or “we”) is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. Please read this Privacy Policy to understand the information that we collect and how we process the information we collect.

WHERE THIS PRIVACY POLICY APPLIES

This Privacy Policy describes the information that Command Precision collects (directly or indirectly) when you use www.commandprecision.com (the “Website”) or from third-party data providers (“Data Providers”) and why we collect it and what we do with the information we collect.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we collect on the Website depends on how and why you use the Website.

  • If you submit an inquiry, Command Precision may collect name, telephone number, email address and other information that you choose to give us to respond to the inquiry.
  • We automatically collect the date and time that you access the Website.  Depending on the settings of your computer or mobile device, we also automatically collect: Internet Protocol (IP) address; MAC address; device make, model and operating system version; mobile network information; internet service provider; browser type and language; country and time zone in which the device is located; and metadata stored on the device.  This information is collected through cookies and other data collection technology, as described below.
  • Command Precision may collect information from other sources and combine it with information we collect from or about you on the Website.  When the combined information directly or indirectly identifies an individual we treat it as personal information.

From some Data Providers, we collect hashed email addresses about consumers in the United States.  From other Data Providers, we collect not only hashed email addresses but also the domain and time stamp when consumers visit third-party websites, browser languages and types, device types and operating systems, IP addresses and similar data not directly identifying an individual person, all of which are used for targeted advertising (“Web Traffic Data”).

We also may collect information in other ways that are disclosed to you at the time information is collected from you or with your consent.

OUR USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER DATA COLLECTION TECHNOLOGY

Command Precision may use cookies, pixel tabs (also known as web beacons, flash cookies and clear GIFs) and similar data collection technology on the Website and on third-party websites when we have permission.

A cookie is a small data file that contains a unique identification number that a website places on your hard drive when you visit a site. The cookie stores information about your computer, the type of browser you use, and how many times your computer visits a certain site.

On the Website,  our cookies enable us to track how often users are using the Website and the specific pages visited and other user preferences and actions. You can refuse to use cookies by turning them off in your browser. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use the Website.

On third-party websites, we use third-party cookies to link hashed email addresses with Web Traffic Data. We refer to this linked data as “Match Data.”  Match Data does not directly identify an individual person but could be used to indirectly identify an individual person.

To learn more about cookies generally, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.

Command Precision may use  clear GIFs (also known as pixel tags, web beacons or web bugs) on the Website. A clear GIF is computer code that contains a unique identifier that enables us to monitor user activity and traffic of the Website.  We use GIFs to gather aggregate information on visits to the Website, track usage of website links and assist with registration and other features.

We also use Google Analytics on the Website, which is a Google service that collects aggregate information about use of the Website and reports website trends.  Google Analytics does not directly identify individual users. You can learn about Google’s practices at https://safety.google/privacy/privacy-controls.

Our Policy On Do Not Track Signals. Some web browsers (including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome) incorporate a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) or similar feature that signals to websites that a user does not want to have his or her online activity and behavior tracked.  If a website that responds to a particular DNT signal receives the DNT signal, the browser can block that website from collecting certain personal information about the browser’s user.  Not all browsers offer a DNT option and DNT signals are not yet uniform. For this reason, many website operators, including Command Precision, do not respond to DNT signals.
